Due to Brexit, the EU distance selling logo will no longer be in use from 31/12/2020. For Great Britain, the MHRA are considering use of an alternative logo for UK online pharmacies. You can continue to check the legitimacy of an online pharmacy by searching the pharmacy register.
UK Pharmacies will also be disconnected from the UK National Medicines Verification System (UKMVS), at the end of the transition period on 31/12/2020. We are awaiting guidance on a new system which will allow medication to be authenticated and identified if tampered with and we will look to implement these new measures.
